Inflammatory skin disease affect men women and children of all races.
Inflammatory skin disease is a broad category ranging in severity and can
be very distressing to those who have them, causing great discomfort and
emotional stress. The more common conditions are:
Eczema – also known as atopic dermatitis a disorder that causes
the skin to become dry, itchy and inflamed, there may be oozing or a
crusted appearance;
Rosacea - an inflammatory skin disease characterized by
flushing and redness, appearing in the central area of the face. Pimples
and pustules may appear.
Acne - an inflammatory skin disease characterized by comedones,
papules, pustules and inflamed nodules.
Psoriasis - an inflammatory skin disease characterized by dry
pink scaling round patches.
Poison Ivy - an inflammatory allergic rash, which develops
after contact with the poisonous plant.
These conditions are
often considered minor ailments by the general public. They can be
serious to the people affected by them.
